I have had some success running make weapons great again instead of individual weapon patches alongside better locational damage. It alters weapon damage to a similar degree as Researching better location damage, I discovered that it does the same thing but avoids headshots had some success running for bosses, but it looks a lot more complicated when it comes to compatibility.
