It has the 1.5 non vtec. I want to boost it w vitara no-notch h-beams and swap in a vtec head ( w the proper high fuel map ecu ofc) but im havin trouble finding a trustworthy turbo kit

I Drive my 600bhp Honda Civic B18 Project on its base tune and explain my plans and where we are with the car in this video its currently running 220hp an Next I wanted to know what ecu to use p28 or p30 so I went with a p28 socketed ecu, manifold I went for a ram horn style with 38 mm external wastegate, TURBO CHOICE now I had a Borg Warner s256 in the garage and was going to use that but I decided to use a holset hx35, rated to 500-600 bhp with a bonnet style exhaust pipe 3″

Im changing my car due to unable to insure a corsa sport x16xe:(, and i was offered a swap for a civic 1.4;) but i dont no anything about them:S so if anybodys nos any info, inusrance, tunability, availability of parts let me no please. Honda Civic Supercharger Kits – Each supercharger system is a comprehensive design and includes all necessary components. Just seamless power. I’d be careful with that kit. eBay turbo’s are notorious for leaky seals and could cause other issues as well. At least it came with an iron cast manifold though. You still need bigger fuel injectors, and probably a better fuel pump as well. You should be able to do most of this yourself as long as you have the tools. It’s not hard, just time consuming. Depending on I am planning on getting a turbo kit in the future and was considering the full race turbo kit since I already have the full race cat back exhaust. Also other than the kit it self, do I need to do any mods to my transmission?

have anybody here installed and have any experianse whit installing an turbo kit on a civic d14a4 (honda civic 1.4is ej9)? is there much too doo, do you have to change the distrubitor? injectors?

So I’ve just purchased my first Civic. It’s an X reg 1.4L EJ9, D14 (4 door saloon). It’s only done 28k miles and it’s immaculate. Now I understand the engine is underpowered and I’d be better off engine swapping it, but to be completely honest, I kind of want to keep it stock! Re: my ej9 from the UK by marty40 » Fri Apr 23, 2010 11:53 pm guys i have a dylemma. i have a turbo and tubular manifold sittin for the civic that i bought ages ago. should 26 which is ok for i go turbo or set my cam and go obd1 and see wat the engine will actually put out wen i allow it to rev. i know i need alot more stuff for turboing but its very tempting.
